Deputy Attorney General of Bangladesh
Currently Mr Mostafa has been working in Supreme Court of Bangladesh as Deputy Attorney General of Bangladesh. He is representing in Bangladesh High Court Division and Appellate Division of Supreme Court of Bangladesh on Civil, Criminal and Constitutional matters and Writ Petitions. In the beginning he was working in Amnesty International Bangladesh as Sector Director (Chief Executive) in Amnesty International Bangladesh Office implementing all programs and liaison with GoB, NGOs and UN agencies on behalf of All Headquarters. He has completed Master of Social Science in Political Science from University of Dhaka. Additionally He has completed Bachelor of law (LL.B) and Masters of Human Rights from Dhaka International University, Bangladesh.
He is also an Executive President of Research Council of the Bangladesh History (RCBH). He is a life member of Dhaka University Alumni Association, Dhaka University Political Science Department Alumni Association, and Dhaka University Registered Graduate. Among many of his memberships, he highlights as a Advisor of Stop Divorce Social Organization and Anurag (a national cultural organization) and Vice President of Rotary Clubm Dhaka Abani, and Awami Ainjibi Parishad. He is a member of Bangladesh Mediators Association (BMA) and an assistant General Secretary, BCL Mohsin Hall Unit. He is also a member secretary of Health System Improvement Forum and a reputed member of BIMAC for a mediation and arbitration organization.
He has publication on different issue based write up on behalf of Amnesty International. He wrote a large number of articles in different Bengali and English Newspapers. He is trained on National Justice Sector Workshops and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) organized by various organizations like South Asian Institute of Advance Legal and Human Rights Studies (SAILS), Layola Law School, Center for Conflict Resolution, Los Amgels (CA, USA) and Judicial Administration Training Institute, (JATI), GoB etc.
